As from 1 October 2022, the Financial Reporting Council (which will be renamed as the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (“AFRC”)) will assume the responsibilities for the following new registration and renewal functions:
Registration of PIE auditors Issuance of practising certificates to certified public accountants Registration of firm names and firms Registration of corporate practices

The AFRC will accept application / notification forms from 1 October 2022 onwards. Applicants should use the forms to be published on the new AFRC website that will be available on 1 October 2022. Any forms submitted to the FRC before 1 October 2022 will be returned to the applicant.
