The recent Luckin Coffee scandal has brought Chinese firms listed in the U.S. under increased scrutiny.  Following the scandal, China Securities Regulatory Commission ("CSRC") claimed that it would investigate the case in line with any international investigation and strongly condemned any financial misconduct.  Besides, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") and PCAOB have jointly issued a statement on emerging markets risks.  This indicated that U.S. listed Chinese companies might be facing challenges such as being targeted by short sellers and facing lawsuits in the future.  In this webinar, our speaker will cover topics including:

§ Short sellers and their activities

§ The impact of short sellers' attack

§ Case studies of short-seller attacks in Hong Kong and United States capital market

§ Recommendation on handling the short sellers' attack
