Inland Revenue Department (IRD) –Tax Representative Portal Account Registration

The IRD has pre-launched the account registration functions of the Tax Representative Portal (TRP) and Business Tax Portal (BTP) in April 2025. Full portal functions will be available on 21 July 2025 tentatively. Before you register your dedicated account for the TRP, a new e-platform specifically designed for service agents (including tax representative, company secretary and service provider) to manage multiple clients’ tax affairs by forming teams, you may get started with an overview of the operation of the TRP:
Only aB TP administrator can register for a TRP business account.
A BTP administrator can set up different TRP teams and manage the team lead and team members to render different scopes of service for their clients.
A TRP team lead can add and remove the team members of his/her team and access to those online services assigned by the BTP administrator and appointed by their clients.
To engage your clients successfully, your clients are required to appoint you as the service agent for the relevant tax matters.
